Hello SFSU!

We are having our annual Valentine’s Day of Compassion activity on February 14.  Our church began this tradition in 2006 of making Valentine’s Day a day of service and compassion as a counter to the candy-hearts marketing machine the day has become. We reclaim the day of love as an opportunity to show God’s love to the elderly and less fortunate among us, on a day when they are overlooked while most people focus on romantic love.  This year, we are planning to visit a rehabilitation center and a convalescent home.

Tue. Feb. 14, 4:30pm / 6:30pm
